Parameters

eci
Type: EciTime
The ECI coordinate point.
ellipsoid
Type: WgsModel
Earth ellipsoid model.

Return Value

Returns 'true' if the given coordinate point is illuminated by the sun. A point is considered illuminated if it is not in the Earth's shadow.
